You're A Duck, Part 1
A downloadable Comedy Game for Windows
In my dimly lit room, illuminated only by the flickering glow of a computer screen, I sat hunched over, pouring my heart and soul into the creation of a game. Hours turned into days, days turned into sleepless nights, as I toiled relentlessly to bring my vision to life. Every line of code, every pixel, was carefully crafted with a fervor driven by an unrelenting passion.
And so, after countless days of tireless dedication, I birthed a game into existence. Its title, "You're a Duck," carried a weight that resonated with the depths of my soul. Little did I know, this virtual world I had created would soon mirror a horrifying reality.
In this tragic tale, players assumed the role of a helpless, downtrodden rubber duck, trapped within the confines of its abuser's house. The quacking protagonist, once an embodiment of joy and freedom, now faced a sinister fate. Its malicious owner, a cruel individual consumed by sadistic pleasure, sought to doom the defenseless creature in the most horrifying manner imaginable.
The journey began in a dilapidated bathroom, the air thick with a suffocating sense of despair. The walls whispered stories of past torment, bearing the scars of countless acts of cruelty. Shadows danced ominously, hinting at the treacherous path ahead. The duck's sole purpose was to escape this malevolent prison, to find solace in a world beyond the grasp of its tormentor.
As the player guided the fragile rubber duck through each level, the atmosphere grew increasingly oppressive, mirroring the weight that burdened the duck's wings. Every step carried the weight of impending doom. The house, once filled with laughter and warmth, now exuded an eerie silence, broken only by the haunting echoes of the serial killer owner’s 12 cats meowing.
However, the duck cannot fail its mission. Otherwise in the bathtub awaits an enabled toaster. An embodiment of doom, so terrifying it would make even the strongest duck’s tails quiver.
Who knows, maybe life is better outside the house.
